CMA has been conducting projects throughout the US for a broad range of clients since 2003. Our project experience spans Superfund sites, federal facilities, industrial harbors, and coastal monitoring programs.
Extensive Trident and UltraSeep assessment to identify and quantify groundwater discharge zones in support of a Remedial Investigation. Over 400 Trident sensor stations surveyed; porewater samples collected at approximately 50 potential discharge zones.
Quantified migration of contaminants from the Hanford reservation to the Columbia River for the US Department of Energy. CMA developed a 600-pound drive frame for hard-bottom, swift-current conditions. Over 1,000 porewater locations sampled.
Trident porewater investigation delineating potential groundwater seepage zones at over 100 locations, followed by UltraSeep investigations at 54 stations to quantify discharge rates. Conducted under contract to Louis Berger Group and New York City.
Trident sensor survey encompassing the entire terminal perimeter, including 57 primary stations and 17 supplementary stations. Successfully delineated potential discharge zones for subsequent porewater sampling. Conducted under subcontract to CH2M Hill.
Trident survey mapping the entire site perimeter including adjacent areas of the Delaware River and Crafts Creek. Temperature contrast used to delineate discharge zones at over 160 stations at two subsurface depths in this freshwater environment.
Trident sensor survey of 25 stations identifying potential discharge zones, followed by porewater sampling at 9 stations for chemical analysis. Conducted under subcontract to Tetra Tech NUS.
Identified potential groundwater discharge zones and collected surface water and porewater samples using the Trident Probe at stations adjacent to the site in Pere Marquette Lake and Ludington Harbor. Conducted under subcontract to CH2M Hill.
Comprehensive groundwater discharge assessment focused on quantification of discharge rates and chemical concentrations. UltraSeep deployments at 25 stations throughout the site, with spatial mapping of mean and tidal groundwater discharge.
Comprehensive field effort including Trident screening and porewater sampling, surface water sampling, piezometer installations, drag probe surveys, UltraSeep surveys, and sediment sampling at the US Steel Plant site.
Pre- and post-cap assessment including surface water and porewater sampling, seepage measurements, sediment coring, infaunal biological sampling, and cap settling monitoring. Conducted under subcontract to CH2M Hill and E2.
